Mexico is in a zone of transition between subtropical climates and the great tropical forests.
Varied Mexican geography causes that the climate of the country varies between the different regions from tropical, throughout the coastal zones, to desert, in the rest of the territory.
The temperature average is of 25º C – 30º C.
The months of greater heat are those than the colds go of principles of April to September (especially in the coast) and, between October and March.
The season of rains, that are little in most of the territory, extends of end of May in the middle of September. Most of the time only it rains from 17:00 hrs, then, even during the season of rains, the days are sunny during the day.
In the city of Mexico, Puebla, Oaxaca and San Cristobal, due to the altitude, is cold during the morning and at night and during the day it is warm.
It is always advised to bring a sweater to be used by the mornings and the nights and a raincoat for the season of rains.
Generally the climate of Mexico is very good; you can visit all Mexico during all the year without any problem. In the months of May to September mainly in the coasts and it divides the south of Mexico, the climate is warmer and humid, nevertheless it continues being good.
The months of June, July and from mid December until half-full of January there are more international and national tourism.
The Mexicans also travel much in Easter (between March and April), during school vacations (July and August) and for Christmas (20 Dic. – 02 January).
Another very popular date is Spring Break (final of February until April) in which the Mexican beaches fill of young people of the United States and Canada prepared to make celebration and to get drunk themselves.
