Mayan wedding is a ceremony full of spiritual meanings, it is performed in maya language by a Mayan Shaman who request blessings to the gods of the 4 cardinal points, seven directions and the four elements, the union that will establish to the couple will be love, honesty, respect and mutual support.
The Shaman will direct his prayers with the sacred smoke from the Copal tree and the blowing of the conch shell horn, bracelets, a crown of flowers and seeds, and then you will share the sacred drink of balché, which is the god´s beverage. The ceremony uses yellow petals that represent the man and the white petals for the woman, this are mixed and symbolize the union of their lives and love, all this while Mayan music is performed.
