The Mayan wedding ritual altar is created to represent the four cardinal points: north with red flowers, south with purple flowers, east with yellow flowers and west with white flowers. Candles are added to each cardinal point to represent the four Mayan cosmos gods.
The bride and groom wear simple natural clothing of white or off white. They are barefoot so they can absorb the energy of the ceremony. A Mayan bride traditionally wore a natural cloth skirt and wedding huipil (an elaborate brocaded blouse traditionally sewn) and the groom wore natural clothing in white or cream. Instead of rings, during the ceremony, the bride and groom exchange floral crowns to celebrate their union. Wedding guests also wore natural cloth in white or cream, preferably barefoot, so they too could share in the spiritual energy created by the ceremony.

Mayan wedding is a ceremony full of spiritual meanings, it is performed in maya language by a Mayan Shaman who request blessings to the gods of the 4 cardinal points, seven directions and the four elements, the union that will establish to the couple will be love, honesty, respect and mutual support.
The Shaman will direct his prayers with the sacred smoke from the Copal tree and the blowing of the conch shell horn, bracelets, a crown of flowers and seeds, and then you will share the sacred drink of balché, which is the god´s beverage. The ceremony uses yellow petals that represent the man and the white petals for the woman, this are mixed and symbolize the union of their lives and love, all this while Mayan music is performed.
Mayan ceremony cannot be done in the Wine Cellar

Here, more than 413 years of history (from the first wine-producing company in Mexico and the oldest in America to the most modern) are collected. In this majestic site you’ll find over 157 Mexican wine labels, with unique and peculiar characteristics according to their place of origin.
The rental fee includes:

The rental fee considers 5 hours rental before midnight, from midnight or from the 5th hour onward an additional charge applies per hour.
